Clean air. Clean bodies. Clothing and bedding sun dried. Everything is pristine here. First impression was flying into Windhoek aboard Air Namibia. The flight crew’s uniforms were immaculate and the cabin appeared to have been recently scoured. The streets in both Windhoek and Swakop are litter free. Have not seen even a scrap of paper on the sidewalk. And the restrooms anywhere- shopping malls, restaurants, airports, highway gas stations – always have toilet paper and soap in the dispensers and water and paper towels including this one:
Yep. In the middle of the desert there is a portable flush toilet. Have you ever been in a port-o-potty that was not disgusting? Not here!
